Hulu is well known for it's on-demand library of shows and movies, but the streaming service also gives members the option to add live TV networks to their subscription. Hulu + Live TV plans start at $65 a month and include over 75 channels.

The price will increase to $70 a month starting December 21, but all members will get access to Disney Plus and ESPN+ as part of their subscription.

Instead of waiting until the next day to watch new episodes of "The Voice" or "Saturday Night Live," Hulu + Live TV gives you the chance to watch shows as they air. This can make Hulu + Live TV a convenient alternative to cable and satellite packages that cost more.

How much does Hulu + Live TV cost?

Hulu Basic + Live TV starts at $65 a month. This plan includes ad-supported access to Hulu's entire streaming catalog and over 75 live channels. If you want ad-free access to Hulu's on-demand catalog in addition to live TV streaming, you need to upgrade to Hulu Premium + Live TV for $71 a month.

That said, Hulu is increasing the monthly cost of both plans by $5 starting December 21. To go along with the price hike, all members will get access to Disney Plus and ESPN+ as part of their Hulu + Live TV subscription.

This bundle used to cost an extra $8 a month. So, while subscribers will lose the option to get a cheaper plan without the bundle, you're actually saving $3 a month on the complete package.
